Biography:
 
The last 24 years I have served my community as a Fort Worth Police Officer. The last 4 years, I have spent as the elected President of the Fort Worth Police Officers Association. During my tenure in the Fort Worth Police Department I have worked in patrol, investigations, and highway enforcement. I have also been elected to a statewide office as one of the three Vice Presidents of CLEAT (Combined Law Enforcement Agencies of Texas) and appointed to the level of Vice President on the national level in NAPO (National Association of Police Organizations).

Although I have received many titles as a police officer, my favorite title is “husband and father.” My wife, Rhonda, and I have been blessed with three wonderful daughters: Whitney, 19 graduated from Martin High School in 2006 and currently majoring in Theatre Arts at Cal State Long Beach; Carly, 17 is in her senior year at Martin High School and plans to be a journalism major; Erica, 9 is in the 4th grade

at Corey Elementary. Rhonda and I have been married over 10 years and live in the Overland Stage area of Arlington.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Southwest Texas State University in 1983. I started a career in Law Enforcement in Fort Worth in January 1984 and moved into Arlington.My family has enjoyed living in Arlington since 1986. Rhonda is a life long resident of Tarrant County and is the Operations Manager of BestFares.com that is located in Arlington. I have had a successful consulting business for motor vehicle collision analysis for the past 19 years. Through this business I have learned the difficulties associated with being a small business owner and the restraints, endless government red tape, fees, and TAXES that consume so much time and income.
